Wrestlers shine at CK World Classic

This past weekend the Journeymen wrestling club held the Journeymen/CK World Classic Freestyle Tournament and Dual Meet. In its second year this tournament is already one of the most competitive and prestigious Freestyle events on the East Coast. Attracting wrestlers from half a dozen countries and over 12 states, this event was actually divided up into two parts: the first was a freestyle tournament. The second was a USA vs the World dual meet event. We are proud to say that six of our clients were invited to compete in this years tournament and all six placed; including one who was selected for the featured dual meet!

Congratulations to the following wrestlers:

Pat Glory- Pat competed at 126lbs and after placing in the freestyle tournament defeated Daulet Temirzhanov-Clubkaz (Kaz) by fall in 4:04. Had he not gotten the fall Pat would have won by technical fall.

Nick Raimo- Champion and Hammer  MOW Award Winner 126lbs

Pat Glory- 7th place having lost to Manville 126lbs

Thomas Fischer- 3rd place 100lbs B Bracket

Evan Barzcak- 3rd place 152lbs A Bracket

Michael O’Malley 4th place, injury defaulted in his 3rd place match in the 160lbs A Backet

Kyle Cochran 3rd at 170lbs A Bracket
